This is an Xpadder profile for the Xbox 360 controller for Modern Warfare 3. It is mapped for the default key bindings. It works pretty well for me but you may want to adjust the mouse sensitivity. Xpadder software not in this torrent. Created with Xpadder v5.7 not sure if it works with other versions.

Having never used this proggie, not sure if I'm using it correctly. The left stick works great, as do the triggers and D-pad. But for some reason, I get nothing from the buttons. I am using 5.7. Any suggestions?

Not sure. You could try remapping the keys.

Thanks for the response. Having never used this program before, that may take awhile. : ) Maybe I'm not loading the profile properly?

Its pretty easy. Just click on the button you want to map and a keyboard pops up. Click the button you want it to be on the keyboard and your done. There is 2 files for the program. One is the button layout and the other is the actual mappings of the buttons. Make sure you have both loaded. If that doesn't work than I don't know what will. Sorry you're having issues with it. :(

Works perfectly for me, I had to set the mouse sensitivity, along with the Dead & Diagonal zones to smooth out the turning & aiming, but nice profile all in all. Thanks wmatt1983. If you have any other profiles for some of the more modern shooters, ie: Rage, BF3 etc, any chance can you bundle & upload them? Cheers.

Won't work in MW3. I've been using xpadder for lot's of other games, and it still works in everything else, including notepad. For some reason it just won't work as soon as I open MW3. I've got xpadder as administrator. Any suggestions?

I've had issues with Xpadder not working for some reason; my quick fix, which almost always worked, was to simply unplug your conroller, then after 5 seconds or so plug it back in again, just make sure the right game profile is loaded & the buttons, trigger & analog sticks are all working before kicking the game over, hope this helps.

If the controller doesn't respond, try running the compatibility manager and have windows 7 turn the xpadder app to xp service pack two. Do this as well for your modern warfare 3 exe. It worked for me! But I used a blackbox release.
